Witches Hats by kids – for kids

Ok…this recipe was chosen by two of my grandkids to make COMPLETELY on their own.  They told me what to buy and when they came over this last weekend, they made them.  They wanted to help me make my Coconut Cupcakes and then the next weekend, one of them helped with my Easy White Chocolate Fudge

One is 6 and the other one is 8 years old.  I think it’s cool that they want to help, much less create their own masterpieces.  They looked through magazines and cookbooks and then we went online. This is what they decided on.  They may have some off colors, but they taste great. I didn’t want to sway their creativity any.  Made it more special for them.

The Oreos they chose were the mint ones, they wanted the mix bag of kisses – regular and hugs and then they wanted orange frosting, duh, because that’s one of their favorite colors.   They were so proud of them! And yes, they got to take them home.

They didn’t like the look of the Hugs, so they just stuck with the Kisses.

  2. These are cute. My kiddo only eats the stuffing out of Oreos so they would be wasted on him. LOL Thanks for sharing these on #yuckstopshere link up. Please come share more with us next week.

  5. These are too cute! I no longer have small children, but my daughter is in her third year of college studying to be an elementary school teacher. Always on the look out for fun and creative things to help her out when she has a class of her own. Pinning!
