Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine cake mix, eggs, vanilla pudding mix and water. Blend on low for 30 seconds. Then blend on high for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour cake batter into your spring form pan.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 18-25 minutes. Or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack.
  5. Blend the tres leches packet (in cake box) and the milk using a whisk until completely dissolved. Poke holes in the cake using a fork.
  6. Pour the milk syrup over the cake slowly. You might not want to do as much as I did.
  7. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Remove from fridge after it has set.
  8. Remove outer ring. Frost top and sides of cake. This is where I had problems with the frosting sliding around.
  9. Unwrap and place Kit Kats around the outside of the cake. You will have to push them up against. Use baker’s twine to hold together. Fill in the top with more frosting to reach the top of the Kit Kats.
  10. Add sprinkles, if desired. Place back in refrigerator for at least 2 more hours to allow the frosting to set some.
  11. Remove twine and serve.
