Eat these for lunch. They also make for great appetizers or just to have around to snack on, which was my case. I was craving me some Egg Salad, so I decided to share my recipe. It’s so simple. I don’t add a bunch of extra stuff so I can actually enjoy the Egg Salad itself.
Do you like Deviled Eggs? If so, you’ll like this Egg Salad too. I used the same ingredients that I use in my Deviled Eggs. The only difference is the egg white is chopped up and mixed in with the “filling”. Speaking of, my daughter was making gross sounds when she found out I was making Egg Salad. I was like, “What, you don’t like Egg Salad?” Guess I never really paid attention to that one. She says, “Nope, that stuff is nasty.”. “Really?”, I asked, “Then why do you beg for my deviled eggs?” She says, “Cuz I like your deviled eggs”. I could go on with our conversation, but to make a short story shorter…..I explained it was basically the same. She ate one and moaned. Literally moaned. Then went in for another. Uh huh….she likes them. Crazy girl.
I use a secret ingredient in my deviled eggs and my egg salad. Some of you may know and use this secret ingredient already. But for those of you who don’t. You’re welcome! And I’m going to give you a great way to boil your eggs so you can peel them easier.
Is your egg salad similar or the same as your deviled egg recipe?
