Ranch Chicken Burgers – Summertime Eats

Ranch Chicken Burgers

I love burgers, but I don’t like to eat nothing but beef all the time.  Always good to change it up a bit and try something new and different.  This is definitely that.  This burger is made with ground chicken.  Eat it alone or on a bun like a real burger.  For those low carbers out there, this would be a great source of meat to have without the bun.

If I had thought about it, I would have had an avocado on hand.  Added a slice or two on top of my chicken patty there.  Mmmm mmm mmmm. You could also just add a couple spoonfuls of guacamole on that patty. What I did have was some mayo, shredded lettuce and cheese.  Tasted pretty darn good too.

These are very easy to make.  All you need is some ground chicken, bread crumbs (optional), ranch dressing, pepper and onion powder. Takes only 5 minutes to mix it all up and cook it however you like. You could bake these, fry them up in a skillet or on the griddle or even grill them.  Oh my gosh, grilling them next time for sure!

Have you ever cooked with ground chicken?
