Pumpkin Pie Bread

Let me see a show of hands….who loves pumpkin bread?  I do!!  I made this bread with a cake mix and my pumpkin pie filling.  Turned out seriously moist.  Just look see…

Can you tell?  Well, you may just have to trust me on this one.  Every year, one of my grandsons asks me to make this.  He requests one for the his school Thanksgiving party and one for home.  It was so funny when they sent home the list that all the kids “volunteered” to bring for the party.  He chose “other” and wrote in “Gs pumkin bread”.

Now, normally, I ice this.  I didn’t for this time so you could add your own if you wanted to.  You could make a simple milk/powder sugar icing and it would taste great.  I know the kids usually prefer the icing, but I wanted to just taste the bread.

Will you ice yours or not?

Rock on!

~Bobbi

  8. Hi Bobbie, I want you to know, I made your bread, it was delicious, one piece left, it didn’t last long. I only made one adjustment and that was to reduce the sugar by half, my husband is diabetic so we watch that. Now I see PB cookies? I need to check those out. Thanks for coming by, glad you did to share your recipes!!

Have a great evening, Happy Fall!!
