Cheesy bread goes with so many meals, or is great by itself as well.  I made this to go with my Turkey Alfredo with Angel Hair Pasta.  And instead of slicing the bread into individual slices.  I just sliced it down far enough to be able to pull it apart and get some butter and cheese down in between each slice.

I didn’t use garlic powder or salt, cuz I can’t.  Instead I used onion powder.  But if you can eat garlic and like it, I would so totally use it.  I wish I could. 🙁  Also, I didn’t bake this until the cheese was melted all over.  For some reason, I didn’t want it like that….this time.  So another way you can change this up if you don’t like the way I made it.

All you need is a loaf of bread.  I used french bread.  Make your slices almost all the way through.  Add a little bit of butter in between the slices.  Add a little bit of cheddar cheese in the slices.  Then top it off with some mozzarella cheese.  I love the cheddar/mozzarella combination.

My recipe will NOT tell you how much cheese or butter to use.  I’m leaving that up to you.

Will you use more cheese, more butter or the same of each?

Rock on!
