I decided to make this yesterday after looking in my fridge and seeing what I had.  I was feeling creative again and I had me some Steak-Umm.  Which is very thinly sliced frozen steak.  I use this kind of meat to make Philly Cheese Steaks.  My belly is still hurting some, so I skipped on the onions.  But, I think it would have been even better if I had thrown some onions in the skillet with the steak.

If you’re not sure what Steak-Umm is..here’s a picture if you’re interested in finding it.  I will be in the frozen section at your grocery store.

You could also use any frozen thinly sliced steak meat. For instance, Walmart carries their brand “Equate”, Philly Steak.  If you find the actual frozen Philly steak sandwiches, then the meat will be close by.

I used white bread, thinly sliced steak meat, provolone cheese and wait for it……………ranch dressing.  I know, sounds weird, but trust me, it tastes good.  You could change out the cheese or the dressing if you like.  But, you should at least try it once.  Never know, you may find your new favorite combo here.

How often do you get creative in the kitchen with what you have?

Rock on!
