How to make CRISPY Turkey Bacon
Are you trying to eat a little more healthier? Switching your pork bacon for turkey bacon, but it’s just not the same. I can’t really say that I am whole heartedly switching from pork to turkey, but I am trying to incorporate it in my diet more. I’ve said it before, I am a bacon lover. And anyone who knows me, knows I love my bacon. But recently, I have really had too much pork bacon.
But, when I eat turkey bacon, it’s just not the same. My first problem is that it’s not as crispy. I was having this conversation with my oldest daughter one day and she showed me how to make it crispier AND have a little better of a flavor. Oil. That’s the trick. All you have to do is drizzle a little olive oil on the turkey bacon as it’s cooking and it will be crispier than it normally is. You’re welcome.
I created this as a recipe, however, it really isn’t a recipe per se, just a how to. You use as much bacon and oil that you need.
