Dr Pepper Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Have you heard of cooking pork and roast in sodas? If not, you’re in for a treat. If so, have you tried Dr. Pepper? I just like the taste of Dr. Pepper better than Coke. But, you make the call for yours. To top it off, I made this in the slow cooker. Did I heat my kitchen up when it was 100° outside? Nope.
I really wish I had some more of this right now. It turned out perfectly moist and tender. I just pulled it apart with a fork. That’s some tender meat there. Plop some on a bun or some bread and you have yourself a mouth watering pulled pork sandwich. Add whatever you like and enjoy this perfect Summertime Eats.
I made a 4.5 pound pork shoulder roast and fed 9 people and had some leftovers. So, this is great to make if you’re feeding quite a few people. It goes far this way. You can serve with chips, potato salad, maybe some coleslaw. Or just have some pickles on the side.
