Candy Cane Kisses Cheesecake by 3GLOL.net

Candy Cane Kisses Cheesecake   What a yummy & festive cheesecake.  Am I right?  This is made with candy cane Kisses, obviously, which are basically white chocolate with little bitty peppermint pieces.  The Kisses alone are delish!  Add them to the cheesecake and you have a double yummy treat! If you don’t like the candy cane Kisses, substitute them for another type.  They have a Cherry Cordial Creme that would

Best Beans Yet

Best Beans Yet This is my best pinto bean batch yet, hence the name.  It’s been awhile since I had a good ole pot of beans.  I had saved a ham bone from a previous meal and froze it.  Just for this.  I threw that puppy in with the beans and you won’t believe the flavor that comes out of it.  Wowsers. You know what I think of when I

Peanut Brittle by 3GLOL.net

Peanut Brittle Peanut Brittle is a classic, don’t you think?  It makes a great gift for friends and family too.  I made some for my fam and one of my neighbors.  They loved it.  I love it.  But I can’t eat as much as I use to.  Couple reasons.  My teeth can’t handle it like they use to and it makes me fat now.  🙂 This is a sticky recipe

Turkey and Gravy on Toast by 3GLOL.net

Turkey Gravy over Toast Got any turkey and gravy leftovers?  If so, this is a great way to use them up without letting them go to waste (your trash can).  In my opinion, turkey sandwiches are the best to make with leftovers.  But, not everyone likes that, so I came up with my version of SOS.  SOS is short for Sh*t on a Shingle. Sh*t on a Shingle (SOS) is

Christmas Popcorn Cake by 3glol.net

Christmas Popcorn Cake Not only is this a festive Christmas Cake, but I used a bundt pan to make it look like a wreath. Bonus!  I was inspired to make this when I was at my Son’s house last weekend.  He had a store bought mini popcorn cake and it was sooooo cute.  I told him that I needed to make one of those.  And I did!  This is very

Christmas Muddy Buddies by 3GLOL.net

Christmas Muddy Buddies These Christmas muddy buddies are pretty much your typical Muddy Buddies aka Puppy Chow, without peanut butter. Because, these are made just for Christmas.  Got your red and green colors going on here.  So, these would be great to set out during the holidays or during a party.  I’m using these as gifts.  Plan on giving some to my neighbors.  You could use mason jars and fancy

Homemade Beef and Cheese Taquitos by 3GLOL.net

Homemade Beef and Cheese Taquitos AKA Flauta. Sarah and I are huge taquito eaters.  The ones that you buy in the frozen food section.  So, we decided to make our own taquitos and although I need a little more practice rolling them smaller, they tasted great.  Better than the frozen kind, of course. We made some cheese dip to go with these, but you could skip that if you like.

Peach Roll Ups by 3GLOL.net

Peach Roll Ups I love simple yet yummy recipes.  This is one of those.  Start with a crescent roll, add some peach pie filling and sprinkle the top with a cinnamon sugar mixture.  Only takes 4 ingredients.  If you don’t like the cinnamon and sugar on top, then you’re only looking at 2 ingredients.  Can’t beat that! I know that peaches are more of a summer dessert, but by making

Bacon Fries by 3GLOL.net

Bacon Fries Talk about easy peasy.  Here ya go!   This came about when my daughter saw a recipe floating around on Facebook.  She tagged me in it and asked if I would make them for her.  I never went to the recipe to see how it’s made, but it’s pretty obvious, don’t you think?  At least my way is easy.  If you would like to make this more homemade, make

Bacon Fried Onion Cheeseburger by 3GLOL.net

Bacon Fried Onion Cheeseburgers OMGosh, these little babies rocked!  I started with my previous French Fried Onion Burgers and took them to the next level.  I came up with them cuz I had been on a french fried onion kick. By adding the bacon and cheese to the hamburger meat, it made a great burger into a fantastic burger.  When I made those French Fried Onion Burgers, both my hubs

Caramel Apple Cupcakes by 3GLOL.net

Caramel Apple Cupcakes   You will NOT believe how these turned out.  It was one of my crazy creations and sometimes they turn out Ah-mazing!  I even had one friend tell me that it tasted like it came from a bakery.  That’s right.  Go me! How did this come about you ask?  Well, I was standing on the cake aisle in the grocery store just looking hoping something would come

Glazed Sliced Ham by 3GLOL.net

Glazed Sliced Ham   You can have Ham any time of the year, but it’s especially good for Easter, Thanksgiving and most definitely Christmas.  This recipe is such an easy recipe to make. Not a lot of fuss, which comes in handy if you’re making it with lots of other food. I took a simple pre-cooked sliced ham and added a to die for glaze and topped it with the

Chocolate Whip Pie by 3GLOL.net

Chocolate Whip Pie NO BAKE   I know it’s not summer, so the “no bake” may not be as appealing for not heating up your house. But, it’s very appealing for the ease aspect. This is one of the pies I made to take to my Son’s house for Thanksgiving. Being responsible for the desserts, it comes in handy for sure. And to top it off, I cheated with this

Cheesy Bean Dip by 3GLOL.ne

EASY Cheesy Bean Dip How about a yummy appetizer for your next get together or party?  You’ve come to the right place then.  Doesn’t that look delish? I have been on a Frito kick lately and since I can’t have Frito Pie (cuz the chili), I decided to make a bean dip.  Can’t have a bean dip without some cheese, right? I took some refried beans and I added some

Chocolate Drizzled Rice Krispie Pops by 3GLOL.net

Chocolate Drizzled Rice Krispie Pops Aren’t these fun?  I have never made them before and neither had Meg, who shared this learning experience with me.  haha  Made plenty of rice krispy treats before, but never in a “pop” form. Learned a few things.  One….it would be better if you used a cake pop stick instead of a popsicle stick.  Why?  Well, the popsicle stick is wider and after forming the
